Usage Instructions

Apply generously to lips before any outdoor activity.  For best results, use after exfoliating with Trail Armour BUFF and layer over Trail Armour QUENCH for maximum hydration and protection.

Nothing has worked like this. My 16-year-old has chronically dry lips and is a habitual picker. We’ve tried everything - pharmacy balms, medicated sticks, ‘natural’ options - some helped a little and some just stopped it getting worse. But none of them resolved the dryness. Does PROTECT have SPF?
Trail Armour isn't a sunscreen and we don't make SPF claims. However, several of our ingredients — including raspberry seed oil and jojoba oil — have been shown in peer-reviewed research to have natural UV-absorbing properties. We always recommend wearing sunscreen alongside your lip care for full sun protection.
How is it different from regular lip balm?
Most lip balms coat your lips with petroleum or wax that wears off in under an hour — and can actually dry your lips out over time. PROTECT uses film-former technology to create an invisible, breathable barrier that bonds to your lips and lasts 8+ hours. You won't even feel it after 30 minutes, but it's still working. It protects and nourishes at the same time — not one or the other.
How long does one tube last?
With once-daily application, a single tube typically lasts 4-6 months depending on usage. Because you're not constantly reapplying, it goes a lot further than a regular lip balm.
What flavour is PROTECT?
PROTECT has a subtle natural orange scent from the orange essential oil in the formula. It's light and not overpowering.
