Who would use Trail Armour?
Trail Armour works for anyone — outdoors or indoors. Whether you're horse riding, hiking, cycling, farming, or doing school pick-up on a windy day, the protection is the same.

What conditions has Trail Armour been tested in?
Coastal environments, mountain trails, desert conditions, rainforest humidity, and multi-day outdoor adventures. From Queensland heat to Victorian cold, Trail Armour performs consistently.
Can I use the products together?
Yes — they're designed to work as a system. BUFF to exfoliate, QUENCH for daily hydration, PROTECT for active use, and RESTORE for overnight repair. You can also use any product on its own.
How long does PROTECT last?
Beta testers report 8+ hours of protection during outdoor activities, with some reporting the product still on their lips after 24 hours. Most people apply once before heading out and don't need to reapply.
Will PROTECT melt in my pocket?
No. Stays solid even in 40°C+ heat.
Is PROTECT sticky or greasy?
No. It forms a smooth, comfortable barrier that feels lighter than regular lip balm.
What does RESTORE do?
RESTORE is an intensive overnight lip treatment. Apply before bed to deeply condition and soften dry, cracked, or weathered lips.
What does BUFF do?
BUFF is a gentle peppermint lip scrub. Use 2-3 times a week to remove dry, flaky skin and help other products absorb more effectively.
What does QUENCH do?
QUENCH is a hydrating lip serum for daily use. Apply throughout the day to keep lips
hydrated and comfortable between activities. Available in a range of flavours.
INGREDIENTS & SAFETY
Does PROTECT provide sun protection?
PROTECT contains raspberry seed oil which offers natural sun protection properties, but it is not a sunscreen.
For extended sun exposure, we recommend applying your preferred SPF lip product 10-15 minutes after PROTECT has set, allowing the film-forming barrier to fully bond first.
Is it tested on animals?
No. Trail Armour is not tested on animals.
Unless you count horses — Alana may have given Ralph the odd kiss or two with it on 🐴
Is Trail Armour natural?
We use a blend of natural and high-performance ingredients.
PROTECT includes film-forming silicones paired with premium natural oils and butters.
QUENCH, RESTORE and BUFF are made entirely from natural ingredients.
Is any product vegan?
BUFF is fully vegan and free from all animal products.
PROTECT, QUENCH and RESTORE contain lanolin (wool-derived).

Orders ship normally by the next business day. You'll receive tracking information via email when dispatched.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within Australia and New Zealand. Orders over $45 AUD & $50 NZD have free shipping. Further international shipping is planned for 2026 — join our email list to be notified.
