FROM FRUSTRATION TO FORMULATION

Trail Armour started in a Scenic Rim kitchen out of pure frustration.

As an endurance rider, I spent years dealing with cracked, windburned lips after long rides. I tried every lip balm on the market — luxury brands, outdoor sports products, even veterinary formulations meant for horses. Nothing worked for more than an hour or two.

So I taught myself cosmetic formulation, studied film-forming technologies used in professional skincare, and started creating my own formulas. The result was PROTECT — an 8+ hour film-forming wind barrier that actually stays put.

But lips need more than just protection. Riders and customers kept telling me about dry, cracked lips that needed serious care. So I developed a complete system:

TESTED IN REAL CONDITIONS

Before launching, I recruited 40+ beta testers — endurance riders, cyclists, trail runners, and outdoor workers across Australia. They tested Trail Armour in coastal winds, mountain extremes, desert heat and rainforest humidity. Real people, real conditions, real results.

But what surprised me most was who else started using it. Parents buying PROTECT for kids who wouldn't stop licking their lips. Farmers. Gardeners. People who just spend time outdoors and were sick of lip balms that didn't work.
