All three PROTECT flavours contain the vanilla flavour oil. It is there to neutralise the natural earthy smell of the oils, waxes and butters, not to make PROTECT taste of vanilla. Peppermint and Citrus Burst have their own flavour on top of it. PROTECT Peppermint also contains Peppermint Aroma. PROTECT Citrus Burst also contains Citrus Aroma.

Usage Instructions

By day — PROTECT: Apply a thin layer to lips before heading outdoors. One application shields against wind, sun and cold for up to 8 hours. Reapply as needed.

By night — RESTORE: Apply a generous layer before bed and leave overnight. Wake up to softer, smoother lips. For best results, use nightly.

Together: PROTECT defends through the day, RESTORE repairs while you sleep.

Nothing has worked like this. My 16-year-old has chronically dry lips and is a habitual picker. Does PROTECT have SPF?
Trail Armour isn't a sunscreen and we don't make SPF claims. However, several of our ingredients — including raspberry seed oil and jojoba oil — have been shown in peer-reviewed research to have natural UV-absorbing properties. We always recommend wearing sunscreen alongside your lip care for full sun protection.
How do I use them together?
Apply PROTECT to your lips before heading outdoors during the day. At night, apply a generous layer of RESTORE before bed and leave it overnight. PROTECT shields, RESTORE repairs.
